Nitra Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 2, 2026

Nitra (the “App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your photos and other information when you use its luminance expansion, HDR/gain map generation, preview, and export features.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not actively collect, store, or upload your personal information or photo content to servers operated by the developer for its core image-processing features.

The App does not require account registration, and the developer does not operate servers for storing user photos.

For core image processing, we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, advertising identifiers, or the contents of photos you import, process, or export.

2. Photo Access and On-Device Processing

To provide image-processing features, the App may ask you to select photos or grant access to your device's photo library.

Photos you select are used only for image-processing actions you initiate, including luminance-range expansion, effect preview, gain map generation, and image export.

Core image computation is performed locally on your device. Your photos are not uploaded to servers operated by the developer for these operations.

Only when you choose to save, export, or share an image will the App write the generated image to the system photo library or a file location, or pass it to the system sharing interface according to your action.

You can modify or revoke photo access at any time in your device settings.

3. iCloud Photos

If a selected photo is stored in iCloud Photos and has not been fully downloaded to your device, Apple's system photo services may use a network connection to download it from iCloud so the App can access and process it.

This process is provided by Apple and is governed by Apple's applicable privacy policies and terms. The App does not upload the photo to developer-operated servers as part of this process.

4. Image Export and Metadata

Depending on your selected export options, the App may generate files containing HDR, gain map, or related image metadata. Generation is performed locally on your device.

Exported files may preserve, transform, or write image and technical metadata required by the selected image format. The exact metadata may vary by format, operating system version, and device capabilities.

When you save an exported image to Photos, the file system, or share it through another app, subsequent processing is governed by the applicable system feature or third-party service.

5. Network Access

The App's core image-processing features do not depend on online image-processing services operated by the developer.

Network connections may occur when retrieving iCloud photos, accessing App Store purchase services, or using other Apple-provided system features. Those connections are handled by the relevant service provider under its policies.

6. Third-Party Services

The App does not use third-party advertising services and does not sell or rent your photos or personal information, or provide them to advertisers or data brokers.

If a future version introduces third-party services that collect or process user data, this Privacy Policy will be updated and disclosures will be made as required by applicable law and App Store policies.

7. Purchase Information

If the App offers a one-time purchase or other App Store in-app purchases, transactions are processed by Apple's App Store systems. The developer does not directly receive your complete payment card information.

Purchase, refund, and Apple Account data are handled according to Apple's applicable policies.

8. Children's Privacy

The App does not require account creation and does not actively collect children's personal information for its core image-processing features.

If our data practices change in the future, we will update our practices as required by applicable children's privacy laws.

9. Data Security

Because core image processing occurs locally and the developer does not operate image-processing servers that receive or store users' original photos, your original photos are not uploaded to developer servers as a result of using the App's core conversion features.

Data stored on your device, in iCloud, in the App Store, or in other services you choose is also subject to the security mechanisms and terms of those platforms and service providers.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in features, legal requirements, or App Store policies.

If material changes are made, we will update this page and revise the “Last Updated” date above.
